About

Hi there, I’m Pernilla, a twenty something dreaming soul from the far north of Sweden, with an addiction to discover new places, try new things, experience different cultures and meet new people. There’s just so much to discover on this planet, and I never ever want the adventure to end!

In november 2010, without really knowing what I was getting myself into I jumped on a plane to the other side of the world. After just a few days in New Zealand I was hooked! I’d gotten the famous travel bug…and here I am 2,5 years later and still going…Currently living, working and travelling around Australia.

I tend to travel slow,on a tight budget and I’ve given up making too much of a plan, they never seems to work out anyways. So I go with the flow and hope for the best.

I love red wine, got a degree in Creative cooking, probably drink way too much coffee and wish I could go skiing more often. I prefer to wander around barefoot, chocolate ice cream always gets me in a good mood and birds kind of freaks me out.

In this blog I’ll document my wanderings around the world and share the experience, both good and bad with you guys. My hope is to inspire all fellow dreamers to actually take the plunge, venture out into the unknown and don’t let your dreams be just dreams. If I can do it, so can you!

  1. If I had the choice, I’d choose to travel but I’m sure I will eventually go back to my hometown. Good luck on your journey, though. 🙂

  2. Hi Pernilla, thanks for stopping by my blog (www.fivedownunder.com). You seem to have fallen in love with Tasmania just as I have! Keep on traveling…
